Youthline seeks a voice in all forums to advocate for the wellbeing of young people.

We generate a lot of research to inform the policy-making process, including information on demographics, mental health issues, use of our services, information-seeking behaviour.

We also act as a community hub, inviting and supporting other groups to establish within our Central Auckland base, and build a community resource.

Youthline aims to involve young people to engage in the policy making process, and have formed a Youth Advisory Group to work with local authorities to provide a youth perspective.

We also run programmes such as vOICE that build leadship qualities in our youth.

Our vision for the future is one where youth are actively involved in decision making and help to direct all policy within Aotearoa.
