This comment is so true. I have come across many young people in my life who have said the exact same thing after a bad experience with drugs or the party pill. I'd ask them "Why on earth did you take it? You saw how it affected 'Steve' and you've heard all the stories." The answer was always "I didn't think it would happen to me!"

As a teenager and as a young adult at university, some of my friends were taking cocaine and/or marijuana. Now I've never taken drugs in my life and don't intend too and my friends respected that and never suggested I join them. I did however constantly warn them of the effects and where to get help in terms to quiting.

The negative effects of party pills are clearly stated on the media aswell as on the packaging, what I want to know is why would someone need to pop a pill to have fun? I'm sure we can all find fun ways to entertain ourselves in our normal state of mind. I personally don't see a need for them so would be happy for them to not be available at all. It would be interesting to research why people take party pills, the results and where the experience has taken them.

That's my next research project

Iv'e heard of people having little to no side effect, then i have heard of people experiencing the whole shebang. it seems drugs will will have different effects to different people.

I personally think that this decision is positive because they replace the drugs with far more unhealthy substitutes which can cause shaking and nausea. My friend took 2 pills which had the equivalent of 20 standard cups of coffee and had a fit along with vomiting.

So personally this I think is a step in the right direction.
