Good Hair for a Good Cause

On Friday May 25 Aucklanders can get a great hair cut and support Youthline at the annual Servilles Superstylin ' event.

 

A $10 donation to Youthline will see the donor receive a hair cut and/or blow-wave from one of 40 Servilles stylists at 8 Durham St West in the city between 9am and 3pm. No bookings are necessary and haircuts will take at least an hour.

 

The event will also feature music, visuals and a celebrity cut off where celebrities compete to create the best hairstyle on a model.

 

The money raised will help Youthline provide assistance to young people and their families via their telephone helpline, face to face counselling services and youth development programmes.


The event is part of Youth Week, a national awareness week from May 21-27 which aims to celebrate young people and their successes.

 

“Youth Week is not just for kids, it is a way for people of all ages to come together and celebrate our young people,” says event organiser Deva St John Parisian.
